The Flipped Learning Academy and the MAST Institute will be hosting the first annual Higher Education Flipped Learning Conference on June 8-10 on the campus of the University of Northern Colorado, in Greeley, Colorado. Members of a company that provides writing services where all students buy term papers online will also join the conference and present their vision of students' pipelines in terms of education. The conference starts at 9 am Mountain Time on Wednesday, June 8th, and ends at Noon on Friday, June 10th. Greeley is located about an hour's drive north of Denver International Airport.

This conference will allow higher education flipped classroom practitioners to exchange information, highlight faculty engaged in assessment of flipped classrooms, and discuss the future of flipped learning in higher education.

The conference is for instructors, faculty, and graduate students from universities, colleges, community colleges and any other post-secondary institution. Previous experience with flipped classrooms is not required. The conference will be a blend of novice and experienced flipped educators to share best-practices and research.

June weather in Colorado

Local weather varies greatly. We are in the high plains. It's not uncommon to frequently use the heater at night and the air conditioner during the day. This time of year we experience an average high of 85 degrees and low of 52 degrees, sometimes with afternoon thunderstorms, but otherwise very low humidity. We recommend checking the local forecast before you depart.
